Thank you for shopping at Guardstone. We appreciate your interest in purchasing our products. Please note that by placing an order and making a purchase at our shop, you agree to the terms set forth below along with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

Product Availability and Limitations

We are usually able to ship your order within a few days, handcrafted items usually within a week. In rare occasions it may take longer than expected to fulfil your order. Should we not be able to fulfil your order within 30 days after your purchase, we will inform you promptly about the projected delay.

Order Cancellation

There may be occasions when Guardstone confirms your order but subsequently learns that it cannot supply the ordered item. In this event, Guardstone will inform you, cancel the order and refund your purchase price in full.

You can cancel your order at any time prior to shipping. Once an order has shipped we will inform you that your order is on its way. At this time it will no longer be possible for you to cancel your order.

Value Added Tax

In accordance with the laws governing members of the European Union, Guardstone is obliged to charge VAT on all orders delivered to destinations in member countries of the EU. VAT is charged in accordance with legislation in The Netherlands. For orders shipped outside the EU the VAT (as appears on shop items on the website) will be deducted from your order total when you enter a delivery address outside the EU on the checkout page.

If you are VAT registered in an EU member state and you have received a VAT registration number issued by an EU member state then subject to the conditions as set out in the VAT registration agreement, you can submit that VAT registration number for purchasing from Guardstone. If you want to use your VAT registration number when purchasing from us, please get in touch with us.


When ordering goods for delivery to countries outside the European Union, you may have to pay import duties and taxes levied. We cannot be held responsible for any Tax or Duties your country sees fit to charge. These and any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you.


We take great care in creating high quality products. In the unlikely case an item you have received from us does not meet your expectations, you can exercise your right of withdrawal and return (part of) your order to receive a refund.

The following terms do apply:

  • You must notify us within 14 days of you (or someone on your behalf) receiving your order that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal. You can reply to the order confirmation we sent you or use our online return form.
  • You must return the item(s) within 14 days after informing us you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal.
  • The item(s) must be undamaged and complete. You are liable for the decrease in value of an item when caused by way of handling the item more than necessary to assess the product. Please ensure items are packed securely thus preventing damage on the return journey!
  • The item(s) must be returned with the original receipt.
  • The cost of shipping returned or exchanged items is the responsibility of the customer.
  • Customers outside the EU are also responsible for the cost of any duties, customs fees, and taxes on returned or exchanged items to Guardstone.
  • Shipping fees to locations outside the EU are non-refundable.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your package. Based on the terms set out here we will refund the amount paid for the item(s) concerned (including shipping costs) using the same payment method you used to purchase the item, no later than 14 days after your withdrawal but no sooner than that we have received your returned items.

Defective or Damaged Products

We only replace products if they are defective or damaged by no fault of your own. Please contact us promptly if you need to exchange it for the same item by email at [email protected]. Failure to do so may affect you entitlement to a replacement item. We will reply to your email notice within 3 working days advising you of the procedure and will arrange for the delivery of a replacement item and the collection of the defective or damaged item.

Complaints and Disputes

Guardstone is registered at the Chamber of Commerce The Hague under registration 27316748. Contracts between Guardstone and its customers are exclusively governed by Dutch law.

Complaints about the performance of this contract shall be submitted in writing to Guardstone fully and clearly described within a reasonable time, at least within 7 days after you have discovered the defects.

Complaints submitted with Guardstone shall be replied within 14 days after the date of the receipt. Should the complaint demand a foreseeable longer time for handling, Guardstone shall respond within 14 days with a notice of receipt and an indication when the customer can expect a more detailed reply.
